Textbook minicases presentation
Guidelines for presentations
There are two minicases in every chapter of our textbook.
All cases are under the title of "Interactive session: Organizations(, or Technology,
or Management)."
- Each minicase is assigned to a group of 3 students and scheduled to make
a presentation of the minicase during next week's lecture.
All minicases presentations are on the second hour of lecture.
- Please read the assigned minicase throughly, then locate
another similar case from local companies. Make a
powerpoint presentation for your summary.
- All the members of group have to show up and participate for the presentation.
(Absence will be allowed only for prior consent from your professor.)
- The first member is responsible for summary of minicase from textbook.
- Company's basic info: primary products or services. Snap shot
of the homepage of reported company is required.
- Challenges experienced from the business perspective in
Organizations, technology, and/or management.
- How the information technology help to resolve
the challenges mentioned above.
- What benefits are achieved.
- The second member is responsible to report a similar local case.
- Company's basic info: primary products or services. Snap shot
of the homepage of reported company is required.
- Challenges experienced from the business perspective in
Organizations, technology, and/or management.
- How the information technology help to resolve
the challenges mentioned above.
- What benefits are achieved.
- The third member is responsible to make conclusions.

- First slide: "Title of presentation" & members' student ID numbers and names
- Last slide: "References," The URL of website quoted, the author(s) and title
of articles cited.
- Time allocated is 10 - 15 minutes. If you are well prepared,
time limit will be lifted.
- Submit your powerpoints and references to the Cyber University after presentation.
- pdf of local case from online sources, scan your
traditional media sources (magzines, other textbooks) into pdf.
